چکیده

SUMMARY The Bayesian Network Webserver (BNW) is a platform for comprehensive network modeling of systems genetics and other biological datasets. It allows users to quickly and seamlessly upload a dataset, learn the structure of the network model that best explains the data and use the model to understand relationships between network variables. Many datasets, including those used to create genetic network models, contain both discrete (e.g. genotype) and continuous (e.g. gene expression traits) variables, and BNW allows for modeling hybrid datasets. Users of BNW can incorporate prior knowledge during structure learning through an easy-to-use structural constraint interface. After structure learning, users are immediately presented with an interactive network model, which can be used to make testable hypotheses about network relationships. AVAILABILITY AND IMPLEMENTATION BNW, including a downloadable structure learning package, is available at http://compbio.uthsc.edu/BNW. (The BNW interface for adding structural constraints uses HTML5 features that are not supported by current version of Internet Explorer. We suggest using other browsers (e.g. Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox) when accessing BNW). CONTACT [email protected]. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION Supplementary data are available at Bioinformatics online.

Green Supply Chain Risk Network Management and Performance Analysis: Bayesian Belief Network Modeling

With the increase in environmental awareness, competitions and government policies, implementation of green supply chain management activities to sustain production and conserve resources is becoming more necessary for different organizations. However, it is difficult to successfully implement green supply chain (GSC) activities because of the risks involved. These risks alongside their resourc...

Uncertainty Modeling of a Group Tourism Recommendation System Based on Pearson Similarity Criteria, Bayesian Network and Self-Organizing Map Clustering Algorithm

Group tourism is one of the most important tasks in tourist recommender systems. These systems, despite of the potential contradictions among the group's tastes, seek to provide joint suggestions to all members of the group, and propose recommendations that would allow the satisfaction of a group of users rather than individual user satisfaction. Another issue that has received less attention i...

Learning Bayesian Network Structure Using Genetic Algorithm with Consideration of the Node Ordering via Principal Component Analysis

‎The most challenging task in dealing with Bayesian networks is learning their structure‎. ‎Two classical approaches are often used for learning Bayesian network structure;‎ ‎Constraint-Based method and Score-and-Search-Based one‎. ‎But neither the first nor the second one are completely satisfactory‎. ‎Therefore the heuristic search such as Genetic Alg...

The modeling of body's immune system using Bayesian Networks

In this paper, the urinary infection, that is a common symptom of the decline of the immune system, is discussed based on the well-known algorithms in machine learning, such as Bayesian networks in both Markov and tree structures. A large scale sampling has been executed to evaluate the performance of Bayesian network algorithm. A number of 4052 samples wereobtained from the database of the Tak...
